About Trusted Ancillary Partners
Built to Help Primary Care Practices Choose Carefully.
Trusted Ancillary Partners was created to help physicians make better decisions about ancillary service opportunities.
Not every service belongs in every practice.
Not every vendor deserves a physician's time.
And not every opportunity that sounds good in a presentation works well inside a real primary care environment.
TAP exists to help practices sort through those opportunities with clarity, discipline, and trust.
A Practical Perspective Built Inside Physician Practices.
Daniel Shafer
Founder & Principal Advisor
Trusted Ancillary Partners was founded by Daniel Shafer, a healthcare business development and operations leader with years of experience working directly with physicians and practice managers.
Daniel's background includes helping integrate healthcare services into ENT and primary care environments, working alongside practice owners and staff, and seeing firsthand what makes an ancillary program succeed — or fail.
That experience shaped a simple belief:
The best ancillary services are not just good ideas. They are good fits.
A service may sound impressive in a sales presentation, but the real test happens inside the practice.
- —Can the staff support it?
- —Do patients understand it?
- —Does the workflow make sense?
- —Is the vendor reliable after launch?
- —Are the financial expectations realistic?
- —Does the physician feel confident standing behind it?
TAP was built to help answer those questions before a practice says yes.
What We Believe
Healthcare Works Best When Physicians Have Trusted Partners — Not More Salespeople.
We believe long-term trust is more valuable than short-term sales.
We believe ancillary services should improve patient care before they improve revenue.
We believe primary care physicians deserve better than endless vendor pitches.
We believe transparency should come before commitment.
We believe operational fit matters as much as the idea itself.
And we believe that if a solution is not right for a practice, the most valuable thing we can say is: "I don't think this is the right fit."
